Black History Month began as a way to honor significant people and events in the history of the African diaspora. Originally observed for a week, it evolved into a month-long celebration in 1970, highlighting the rich history, resilience, and contributions of Black communities worldwide.🌍

Let’s celebrate this month through the power of photography, by capturing the essence of Black identity and what it means to us! 💫
